Phew, made it just in time ^^; This is my holiday picture for the year :D I decided I didn't want to do a standard red-and-green Christmas image, so I turned to my other favorite event of December.

Lengthy explanation time! Some of you who know my art will probably remember the laira flowers that I have drawn a few times. They're small, purplish flowers that have a glowing white center. Once a year on the new moon in December they release their seeds into the air and they are carried to fall all over the land like snow. Hence the name, which means "snow flower." The event is pretty much the Elven equivalent of Christmas in *algy's little world.

I love the lairas :heart: Celesse's nickname is even Laira XD But yes, that is the significance of the image. Happy Holidays, everybody~!!

Wow, this is a fantastic picture. The shadows look really great and add a lot to the piece. I love the flowers at the bottom. :thumbsup:
