I'm normally not a photography artist, but since I got my new Canon PowerShot I've discovered how much fun it can be. And I can MACRO!

The gigantic butterfly bush just outside my front door was begging to be photographed, so one pleasant day when the butterflies were a-plenty I grabbed my camera and ran out there.

I got dozens of shots of rather ordinary run-of-the-mill orange butterflies...but then this beauty showed up! He would not sit still at all so unfortunately I only got a few decent shots of him. This is the best one.

Taken with a Canon PowerShot SD1000. Don't use without permission, mmm'kay?

Normally I'm terrified of bugs, even butterflies up close, but this one ish so pretty~ maybe its the unique color? Very nice shot though, makes it look so soft <3333
